Breaking news :-Asuu to meet with FG

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is expected to meet with the federal government within the week . After which the government have met one of there demands which is Asuu has received the certificate of operation for Nigerian University Pension Management Company, NUPEMCO, from the National Pension Commission.
That was according to there official twitter handles

Asuu also made clear on there twitter handle that FG only approved one of there demands not all

They are still other demands which have not been approved by the government and I quote according to there twitter handles This is announce that

FG has met one of our major demands. According to Asuu official twitter handles Which are 1. Refusal to honor the 2009 agreement. 2. 2013 MOU; funding for the revitalization of public universities; earned academic allowances;.

Hopefully the next meeting will be meaningful A date for the meeting has not yet been announced Till then strike continues
